I'm Just Different, OK?

Autism is not a disability. It is a difference.

Australian teenagers are being diagnosed with Autism at an increasing rate. Most of us know an autistic person but an overwhelming majority of us don't know how to support them.

This website, I'm Just Different, OK? is the hub of a digital awareness campaign spread across YouTube, Instagram and the web that's designed to raise awareness about High Functioning Autism in Australian teenagers.

The campaign is centred on a narrative short film on YouTube about a day in the life of Miguel, an Aussie teenager with High Functioning Autism. In the film, he demonstrates some of the characteristics of High Functioning Autism and the effects they have in his every day life.

Don't have time to watch the whole video? We've also broken each trait down in more detail here on the site. Click any of the buttons below to better understand some of the characteristics.

The campaign is supported on social media on Instagram so we reach mobile audiences with even quicker info bites. Click any of the tiles below to check out the campaign on Instagram!
